Day 1 – Arrival in Sri Lanka & Travel to Kandy
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (Katunayake), you will be welcomed by your guide who will escort you to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Along the way, you’ll stop at the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for orphaned and injured elephants. Here, you can watch the elephants bathe in the river and, during designated times, feed them. Your journey continues with a visit to a herbal and spice garden, where you will be introduced to the island’s rich heritage of spices and Ayurvedic treatments. In the evening, you’ll check in at your hotel in Kandy and relax for the night.

Day 2 – Kandy City Tour
Your second day begins with a visit to the iconic Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred sites for Buddhists, which houses the tooth relic of the Buddha. Next, you can enjoy a peaceful walk around Kandy Lake, a man-made lake in the center of the city. From there, you’ll head to Kandy View Point for a panoramic view of the city and surrounding hills. Continue to the Bahirawakanda Temple, home to a giant Buddha statue overlooking the city. Afterward, visit the National Gems & Gemological Museum, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s rich gemstone history. The tour also takes you through the vibrant Kandy Market, where you can shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts. End your day with a traditional Kandyan dance show, which features fire-walking and drumming. You’ll return to your hotel for the night.

Day 3 – Travel from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
On the third day, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” due to its colonial architecture and cool climate. Along the way, stop at Ramboda Falls, a majestic waterfall perfect for a photo break. The Ramboda View Point offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and hills. As you continue, you will visit the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple, a revered spot for devotees of Lord Hanuman, located amid the lush tea plantations. Your journey through the tea country wouldn’t be complete without a visit to a tea factory and garden, where you’ll learn about the process of tea production and taste some of the finest Ceylon teas. After a fulfilling day, you’ll settle in for an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya City Tour
On day four, you’ll explore the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya. Start with a visit to the Nuwara Eliya Post Office, one of the most charming colonial-era buildings in the town. From there, take a peaceful stroll through Victoria Park, which is filled with colorful flowers and trees. Gregory Lake is another must-visit site, where you can either enjoy boating or simply relax by the serene waters. A highlight of the day is the Seetha Amman Temple, a sacred Hindu site linked to the Ramayana legend, believed to be the place where Sita was held captive by King Ravana. Later, visit Hakgala Botanical Garden, renowned for its diverse flora, including a vast collection of orchids and roses. After a day of sightseeing, you’ll return to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya for the night.

Day 5 – Travel from Nuwara Eliya to Bentota
Leaving the cool climes of Nuwara Eliya, you’ll journey toward Bentota, stopping at several stunning waterfalls along the way. Your first stop is Devon Falls, often called the “Veil of the Valley” for its dramatic drop and picturesque surroundings. You’ll also visit St. Clair Waterfall, known as the “Little Niagara of Sri Lanka” due to its width and beauty. For an adrenaline-filled experience, you will stop at Kithulgala for an exciting session of water rafting on the Kelani River, with beautiful views of the rainforest. After the adventure, you will continue your journey to Bentota, where you’ll spend the night at a beachside hotel.

Day 6- Bentota Sightseeing & Water Activities
Your sixth day will be filled with beachside relaxation and water-based adventures. Start with a boat safari on the Madu River, a peaceful ride through mangroves where you can observe local wildlife, including birds and monitor lizards, and explore small islands. Afterward, visit the Turtle Hatchery Farm, where you can learn about efforts to conserve endangered sea turtles and witness the release of baby turtles into the sea. The tour then takes you to the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a rich blend of European and South Asian architecture. Spend the rest of your day enjoying the pristine Bentota Beach, where you can indulge in water sports like jet skiing or windsurfing. You’ll return to your hotel for the night.

Day 7 – Colombo City Tour & Departure
On your final day, you’ll travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital. The city tour begins with a visit to the Lotus Tower, one of the tallest structures in South Asia, offering panoramic views of the city. You’ll then visit Independence Square, a symbol of Sri Lanka’s freedom from British rule, located in a serene park setting. A stop at Galle Face Green will allow you to experience the city’s most popular oceanfront promenade, perfect for a stroll or enjoying some street food. The tour continues to the Gangaramaya Temple, a renowned Buddhist temple known for its unique blend of modern architecture and traditional culture. You’ll also explore the historic Colombo Dutch Hospital, a colonial-era building that now houses upscale restaurants and shops. Before departure, you’ll have time to relax at Beira Lake, a tranquil spot in the heart of Colombo. Finally, you will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport for your flight or your preferred drop-off location in Colombo, marking the end of your unforgettable Sri Lankan holiday.
