Arrival & Booking into a hotel in Bentota
Our Lanka Safe Tours representative will welcome you and your partner at the Katunayaka Bandaranayake Airport. Then you will travel to the Sri Lankan economic capital, Colombo City. There you will visit the most attractive and most important places in the city. It includes Gangarama Temple, Galle Face Beach, Independence Square, and Dutch Hospital. After the sightseeing in Colombo, you will directly go to the Bentota Beach Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Bentota Sightseeing
On the second day of your tour, you will both visit popular tourist attractions in Bentota and around. First, you both participate in a boat ride on the Madu river in the morning. It will be an amazing experience for both. Then you will visit a turtle hatchery farm to watch turtles. Later in the day, you will visit the famous Dutch fort in Galle. Then you will come back to the Bentota hotel for an overnight stay. It will be a superb day with many water activities.
Bentota to Nuwara Eliya
In the morning of this day, you will visit Nuwara Eliya city from Bentota. The route is along the Kithulagala where you can participate in water activities according to your preference. You will enter the hill country of Sri Lanka after Kithulgala. The elevation will go up and the temperature will decrease. The route has become scenic with beautiful tea plantations. You will both stop for a few minutes near the two magnetic waterfalls called St. Clair Waterfalls and Devon Waterfall before Nuwara Eliya. Then you will come to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya city to finish the day.
Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing.
This is the day you will both visit the most attractive places in Nuwara Eliya and around. It includes the Nuwara Eliya Post Office, Gregory Lake, Hakgala Botanical Garden, and Seetha Amman Temple. In the evening, you will come to your Nuwara Eliya hotel for an overnight stay.
Nuwara Eliya to kandy
In the morning, you will travel to Kandy from Nuwara Eliya. You will both be lucky to visit a tea estate and its factory, where you can both pluck tea leaves and learn how famous Ceylon tea is processed. Your next stop will be Ramboda Falls, the 11th tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka. Then you will visit Royala Botanical Garden in Perdeniya. After reaching Kandy city, you will visit the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, and Kandy Viewpoint. Then you will both be booked into your hotel in Kandy.
Departure Date
We will be dropped off at the airport, Colombo or whatever place you prefer. This will end our special Sri Lanka Honeymoon Tour package with you.
